The Apple Guide You Need: Avoid Buying These Apple Devices Right Now

    Spread the word

Apple is most likely done with launching new products for 2021, and all upcoming devices are slated to launch in 2022. The Cupertino tech giant introduced the iPad Pro with M1, a new iMac, iPad 9, iPad mini 6, and the iPhone 13 series, the latest 2021 MacBook Pro models with an updated M1 Pro and Max processors, and the AirPods 3. That’s not to mention the AirTag item tracking device and new colour options on the HomePod mini.

With all of these new devices, there are still some older generation devices that you should consider while making your next Apple device purchase. For example, the regular iPhone 12 and 12 mini are still worth buying if you do not want to spend on an iPhone 13. Similarly, certain products might not be the best purchase decision right now. So, read on and avoid buying these Apple devices.

    Apple Products Not to Buy

Now that 2021’s almost over, we can look forward to more Apple devices coming our way in 2022. That’s why you might want to avoid buying these Apple devices.

    AirPods 2

Although they’re still available to purchase, you might want to refrain from buying the 2nd generation AirPods. For a little more money, you can get the way better AirPods 3. And if you want Active Noise Cancellation, the AirPods Pro will suit you best.

iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max

We’ve had tons of queries on why Apple discontinued the capable iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max devices once the 13 series dropped. All we have to say is that the 12 Pro and 13 Pro models are too similar to exist for sale simultaneously. Unless you’re getting a sweet deal on one of the older models, it’s much better to go for the newer 13 Pros with the camera updates. And if you’re looking for reduced pricing, the regular 12 is a pretty good option.

    iPad 8th Generation

The 9th generation iPad has launched, which means there’s not much sense in buying the older 8th generation model. The iPad 9 will give you Center Stage, better cameras, and a faster processor. Take our advice and steer clear of the older generation iPad.

    2019 16-inch MacBook Pro

The 2019 16-inch MacBook Pro wasn’t even given the M1 treatment, and with the Intel processor, the 16-inch MacBook’s battery life is nothing compared to the latest M1 empowered devices. Thus, you should avoid buying this Apple device. Instead, if you want a Pro laptop and the latest offerings are too much to handle, go in for the 13-inch M1 MacBook Pro.

Apple Watch Series 4 and 5

With the Apple Watch Series 7 available now, it’s pointless going in for Series 4 and 5. Look for a better deal on the Series 6 if you don’t want to spend a lot on your next wearable device. Or, if you can live without an always-on display, blood oxygen app, and ECG app, the Watch SE is an absolute delight.

And that was it. We think you should avoid buying these Apple devices right now. Agree, disagree? Tell us in the comments!
