It is for the first time that the release of an Apple device will be held simultaneously in the US and India. Although the release date of iPhone X is 3 Nov, Apple India will start taking preorders from 27 Oct. It means that you pay a small amount of Rs. 5,000, confirm the colour and configuration you want, and get the first dig at the stock on the launch day.
Please note that making a pre-booking doesn’t necessarily confirm that you’ll get the iPhone on launch day. What it ensures is that if there is stock of the model you selected then you’ll get preference over walk in customers.

Aside from Apple’s authorised stores, e-commerce retailers like Amazon and Flipkart have also made the pre-order page live for the Apple iPhone X. You can register with these sites, if you haven’t already, to get an alert as soon as the pre-orders start.
