As Apple CEO Tim Cook approaches his 65th birthday, rumours are swirling about a possible leadership change in the company. These whispers surface every once in a while—and obviously, so far, they haven’t been true. However, online chatter is abuzz, claiming John Ternus (Apple’s hardware chief) is to be named Cook’s successor.
Tim Cook, who took over from Steve Jobs in 2011, has led Apple through massive growth over the years. Sadly for him, plenty of customers seem quite pleased with the idea of him stepping down—clearly not everyone’s been thrilled with Apple’s recent innovations, or its lack thereof.
