Apple has just released the first iOS 11 Public Beta for the summer. It’s now available to download from Apple’s Beta Software Program web page. You’ll have to sign-up for the program (if you haven’t already) and then follow the instructions provided on the site.
Apple announced the launch of iOS 11 at the WWDC 2017 earlier this month, to much public fanfare. Since then, a developer preview has been available to those who wanted to test out its many features. And now, just as promised at the WWDC, Apple has released the first iOS 11 public beta.
The final version of iOS 11 will be available for download in the fall, around September or October (usually, the release of a major iOS update coincides with the release of a new iPhone). In the meanwhile, Apple will possibly release a couple more public betas.
Which devices are compatible with iOS 11 public beta?
Not all Apple devices can get iOS 11. However, if your device is listed below, then you will be able to download the software —

Warning
Please note that iOS 11 public beta is not a very stable version and that it will be full of bugs. So don’t download it on your primary device. And if you do, don’t complain that it’s not working well!!
