Mac Otakara, a Japanese website doling out Apple news, is currently peddling a rumour that’s sure to flutter the hearts of many an iPhone fans.
Apple might launch the iPhone 7 in a new “Jet White” color!
Just to recap, the latest iPhone is currently available in five color options: Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Black (Matte), and Jet Black. And now there’s a distinct possibility that we might get our hands on a premium Jet White!
If Apple does take this step, it will be historic, because they’ve never done something like this before. All color changes have only been announced during the iPhone launch. An extra color has never been added to the line-up just weeks after the launch.
However, before we start fantasising about this brand new color, be warned that the source of the rumour might not be very reliable. We’re not the only ones saying this. Mac Otakara has also asked us to take this news with a pinch of salt.
But, there’s a silver lining to the cloud. As MacRumors points out, Mac Otakara was the site that had predicted the possibility of a Jet Black iPhone 7. So, there just might be a hint of validation to the ‘Jet White’ rumours as well.
