Apple CEO Tim Cook recently offered his insights about the future of the iPhone, underscoring that the device still has “so much left” to evolve and innovate.
Cook’s comments come at a time when Apple is exploring new frontiers, including augmented reality (AR) and AI‑driven experiences, but he insisted that the company is not ready to move away from its flagship device. Rather, the iPhone continues to be central to how people communicate, work, and stay connected, and Cook believes there is ample opportunity for future enhancements.
Speaking during an interview at New York’s Grand Central Terminal, Tim Cook said that the “iPhone’s going to be around for a very long time”. Personally, I think that instead of stating the obvious, it’d have been more enlightening had he shared a bit about his own future in the company. Is he also going to be around for a very long time in the company? Or does he plan to leave any time soon—like the rumours keep claiming? I guess we’ll just have to wait to find out.
