Apple has introduced the latest addition to the AirPods family – AirPods Pro 3. It may look the same as the previous edition, but the new features are actually quite useful.
One of the biggest changes this year is the improvements in the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Apple claims that ANC is four times more than the original AirPods and two times more than the AirPods Pro 2. But can it drown out the voices in my head? I doubt so!
Further, to offer a better fit, Apple has decided to provide new ear tips in five different sizes and has added foam for better structure. The more choices, the better.
With the all-new heart rate sensing, we can track our heart rate and calories burned during workouts. At this point, the technology is becoming unbelievable. Imagine how a small heart rate sensor will provide us with accurate workout data, be it from our gym or running sessions.
Talking of gyms, the AirPods Pro 3 are the first ones to be IP57 certified. Confused? Let me explain it to you as if you were five, just after I Google the same thing. It means that these new AirPods can handle the sweatiest workouts and even a heavy rainfall. Well, it is safe to say that during your lock-in periods, your music won’t be interrupted until someone comes and takes away your gym equipment.
The latest model also introduces live translation powered by Apple Intelligence, allowing real-time translation of foreign languages as you speak. It currently supports English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish, with additional languages set to roll out later this year. The question is whether it will be able to translate ‘Klingon’? Asking for a friend named Sheldon!
The new AirPods deliver up to 10 hours of music playback in Transparency mode, which is a 67% boost compared to the previous generation. With Active Noise Cancellation enabled, the AirPods Pro 3 offer up to 8 hours of listening time. I mean, I am fine with everything until I don’t have to listen to people’s cringe reel audios in the metro.
Now comes the most important part: the price. In India, the AirPods Pro 3 are priced at ₹25,900 and are available for pre-orders starting today. They will officially launch in stores and online from Friday, 19 September. So now the question to you is: would you rather buy the AirPods Pro 3 and enjoy its ANC features, among other things, or listen to your parents quarrel over petty stuff like how much their son spends on gadgets?
