Yesterday, Apple announced an upcoming event, calling it a “special Apple experience”, to be held in three cities—New York, London, and Shanghai—on March 4. The announcement has already sparked excitement among tech fans, as industry watchers anticipate a range of new product launches.
While Apple hasn’t confirmed anything specific, here’s a look at what could appear at the Apple March event.
Low-Cost MacBook
Market analysts are expecting Apple to unveil the affordable MacBook at the March event. With the A18 Pro chip, a 12.9-inch display, a range of attractive colour options, and a wallet-friendly price, this budget-friendly MacBook is shaping up to be very appealing.
iPhone 17e
Smartphone enthusiasts across the globe are eagerly waiting for the iPhone 17e to drop and the 4th of March could be their lucky day. Rumours suggest that the iPhone will feature a newer A-series chip, improved battery life, and subtle design updates. Already the apple of users’ eyes, the iPhone 17e promises to deliver the latest features without the premium flagship price tag.
MacBook Air with M5
Apple’s MacBook Air is also one of the top contenders that are expected to be unveiled during the event. Powered by the next-generation M5 chip, the updated MacBook Air would offer better performance and efficiency while keeping its lightweight design, appealing to students and professionals alike.
MacBook Pro Refresh
Experts believe it to be very possible that the new MacBook Pro line might be presented to the world at the event. Featuring the all-new M5 Pro and M5 Max chip options, these laptops are expected to deliver significant improvements in graphics performance, processing speed, and thermal efficiency.
iPad Updates
Apple’s tablet lineup could see a refresh as well. An updated iPad Air with a faster chip is rumoured, alongside a possible update to the entry-level iPad. These upgrades would improve performance across price points and modernize the tablet range.
Rumours about the launch of the new Apple TV and HomePod mini models are also circulating but these rumours have been flying for more than a year now, so I would not get my hopes up.
Even without official confirmation of specific products—or any confirmation of launches at all—the Apple March event is already creating a lot of buzz in the market and amongst the fans. Let’s just hope it lives up to the hype, or better yet, surpasses it.
