We can all agree that Apple has a flair for the dramatic. So instead of scattered simple announcements each year, we get a handful of grand events that reveal shiny new gadgets, exciting software, or sometimes a bit of both. If you’re an Apple fan or just someone who gets curious about Apple’s keynotes, 2026 will have a lot to offer to you.

    Spring Event

Apple usually kicks off the year with a spring event in March or April, although it’s not guaranteed every year. These events are often used to introduce refreshed devices—maybe new Macs, iPads, or even unexpected hardware that didn’t make it into the fall lineup. Think of it as the spring season when apples are full in blossom but not ready for harvest yet (this is just a metaphor, sometimes there’s harvesting also).

During the 2026 Spring event, Apple is expected to introduce the M5-powered MacBook Air, along with MacBook Pro models featuring the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips. The lineup may also include the iPhone 17e, updated entry-level iPad and iPad Air models, and possibly a new Mac mini.

    WWDC

One Apple event you can pretty much bet on every year is WWDC—the Worldwide Developers Conference. In 2026, WWDC is expected to take place from June 8 through June 12. This event is all about software, where Apple unveils the next versions of the various operating systems in their portfolio.

At WWDC, we can expect the details of major OS upgrades like iOS 27, iPadOS 27,  and macOS 27, and they can also surprise us with new hardware—especially Macs aimed at creative professionals or power users.

    September iPhone Event

September is the big hardware month for Apple (or the harvesting season from the metaphor above)—the one that regular consumers like you and me are the most excited about. Every year for the last decade (with a few exceptions), Apple has used the September event to introduce the latest iPhone lineup and new Apple Watches.

For 2026, analysts expect the iPhone 18 series to debut at the September event—likely in the early second week, say 7th, 8th, or 9th of the month—along with new Apple Watch models. The expected lineup, however, includes only the Pro and Pro Max models of the iPhone 18 with several reports claiming that the standard one may be delayed until spring 2027.

It is also rumoured that Apple might finally reveal the long-awaited foldable iPhone at this event. Now I don’t know about you, but I am not getting my hopes up until I see it in front of my eyes.

    Possible Late Fall Event

Some years, Apple also holds a late fall event in October or November. These are less predictable, but when they happen, the focus is often on Macs, iPads, or accessories like HomePods. It’s not guaranteed every year, but it’s always worth keeping an eye out for, just in case.

And there you have it. This is what Apple’s 2026 schedule looks like currently—but there’s still always room for surprises, you never know. Mark your calendars… or don’t. If you have an internet connection and are not living under a rock, Apple will make sure you hear about these events anyway.
