Good news for young Indians—Apple India’s Back to School offer is back and officially live. This limited time promotion allows eligible students, parents of college students on behalf of the kids (not for themselves), and educators to get free or discounted accessories with select Mac and iPad purchases, in addition to Apple’s discounted education pricing.

Under the promotion, buyers of eligible MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models can choose between AirPods 4 or an AirTag 4 Pack at no additional cost—yes, you read that right! The younglings can also upgrade to higher-end accessories such as AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation by or AirPods Pro 3 by paying an extra amount of ₹5,000 and ₹13,000, respectively.
For the ones purchasing eligible iPad Air and iPad Pro models, Apple is offering the Apple Pencil Pro free of cost. Customers can also choose alternative accessories at reduced prices, including AirTag 4 Pack for ₹2,000, AirPods 4 for ₹2,000, AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation for ₹7,000, or AirPods Pro 3 for ₹15,000—which in Apple world is the equivalent of a chump change.
And for the aesthetic paglus, Apple is also continuing its free engraving service for eligible accessories. Customers can personalise products including AirPods, Apple Pencil, and AirTag with names, initials, emojis, or other supported engravings at no extra cost. They also have multiple language options including Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada, Gujarati, Telugu, and, of course, English.
To access education pricing and the Back to School offers online, students and educators need to verify their eligibility through UNiDAYS, a student discount verification platform. Alternatively, customers can also avail these benefits at the Apple Retail Stores by completing the verification process in person. Knowing my fellow Indians, I’m sure so many of you are going to look around and think, “Wait… who in my family is still a student?” However, before you give in to such impulses, just try to remember the famous words of a wise man— “Identity theft is not a joke!”
