Good news for Apple lovers!! Rumour mongers are wagging their tongues again, and the iPhone 8 (supposedly) has lots of exciting and mind-blowing features. However, before we proceed to regale you with details, remember our cautionary advice of not treating every rumour as the gospel truth. Things are still at a speculative stage, and until the launch of iPhone 8 in September 2017, we cannot tell for certain which rumours are true and which ones the results of somebody’s overactive imagination.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way let’s check out all the exciting features that might be coming to iPhone 8?
3D Camera
iPhone 8 is expected to feature the all new 3D technology in its camera. Few media sources reveal that Apple is doing research on how to implement a 3D camera in their latest release. The tech giant has joined hands with LG Innotek – a company that already owns 3D camera and related technologies. One can only imagine what a tech treat it will be when these two companies join hands.
If all goes well, the latest iPhone 8 will capture 3D images with a dual camera set-up, which means that the picture is taken with two different lenses and combined to form a 3D illusion. How cool would that be!
Wireless Charging
According to sources, the iPhone 8 will have a unique wireless charging module. The new version will feature a case model made of glass. This model is placed on the wireless charging pad, which will quickly charge the battery.
As such, wireless charging isn’t groundbreaking technology, but it would be lovely to see it on an iPhone, what with the fragile nature of their lightning cables! Besides, the convenience would be unbeatable.

· iPhone 8 supposedly features a curved screen display, 5.8-inch screen size. The OLED model screen has a dual camera and dual optical image stabilisation.
· The Home button comes with a Touch ID fingerprint sensor which is integrated into the screen.
· iPhone 8 has a glass body surface rather than the oft-used aluminium housing.
I can tell you’re disappointed. You probably hoped for a longer list and much cooler features. Don’t worry. We’re only getting started. Rumours are going to come pouring in all the way till the launch date next year, and you’ll have plenty of fodder to chew on.
But, one thing’s for sure – whether you ditch the rumours or believe them, the iPhone 8 is a highly anticipated model, given that Apple is celebrating its 10-year anniversary next year. So, we expect nothing short of wonders in this mega launch.
