Macs

Apple’s Macs are the most diverse and premium range of products offered by the company. The current line-up is one of Apple’s strongest yet, with the 16-inch MacBook Pro, a shiny and expensive Mac Pro, and Apple’s Pro Display XDR leading the race alongside the newly refreshed 2020 MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro. The company currently offers four types of products under Macs: MacBooks, Macs, iMacs, and an all-new monitor. The Apple MacBook is perhaps the most popular out of these, with iMacs coming a close second due to its extensive use in professional environments.

The concept of ‘Macs’ first started in 1984, when Apple launched its first Macintosh, which led to the birth of the iMac in 1998, Mac Mini in 2005, MacBook Pro and Mac Pro in 2006, and MacBook Air in 2008. Apple’s demand has always had something to do with its premium pricing (The fact that you can buy multiple Windows laptops for one Apple laptop’s price holds some appeal for people), but that doesn’t take away from the fact that Macs are amazing powerhouse machines that are perfect for both tech-savvy people and those who are decidedly not.

We’ve heard that Apple might be planning on introducing a 14.1-inch MacBook Pro with a mini-LED display, which we might get either in 2020 or 2021 according to Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. There are also rumours about MacBooks with Apple’s own custom processors, slated for the fourth quarter of 2020 or first quarter of 2021 if Kuo is to be believed. All we can say is that we’re excited to see what’s in store! To keep up with all things Mac, have a look at our articles below.
